Is my water change container safe?

I have a plastic tub i use for water changes, mixing sw ect..
The tub has the number 2 in the recycling triangle and HDPE for the material. The lid has a number 5 in the triangle and is PP for material. Is this ok to be using? Thanks for any help

I use an old plastic 4 gallon Helmann's Mayonayse (sp) bucket. Never hurt anything.

Yes it should be fine, the HDPE means High-Density Polyethylene and is used for food containers.
