Is my xenia dead?

I picked up some xenia late last night and started acclimating it this morning.
I noticed the water was really murky and brown and the xenia was pretty droopy.

Is this normal??

So where did you leave it between last night and this morning?

It doesn't look good, but these things are pretty hard to kill, I would dip it with coral rx or something along those lines and keep adding tank water a bit at a time to a container with the frag and see where it goes.

Thanks for the advice. I had it in the bag, floating in the tank
