I purchased what appears to be a darth maul morph called nightmare. I know these are rather sensitive and hard to keep. It has 4 polyps, only 2 of which opened in my tank when I put them in about 5 days ago. Now none of them are opening and it appears that a layer of skin is peeling off like a leather coral. They came from a frag tank with 250watt metal halides I have spotlight LEDs, about 40 watts, 20 inches above the frag. I have increased the flow by placing a koralia nano near it (but not blowing directly on it). I smelled it to see if it was decomposing, and no smell of death. Is my zoa dying or adjusting?
