Hello;
I think my anemone is dying.
Just put him in on Sunday.
He has moved some and I have not messed with him at all.
All Paras are good.
Frav - 1.025
PH - 8.2
KH - 9
Calc - 400
Phos - .5
Amm, Nitrite, Nitrate - 0
I have 4 T5 Lights, 2X Aqua Blue+, 2X Actinic.
I run a protein skimmer & Just set up a phosban reactor.

Not sure what I am doing. Tank has been running for 3 years.
I had a condy that outgrew the tank and am now trying another nem.

It looks like it is deteriating on the one side but some of his tentacles are still moving.
Should I remove him???

Looks really bleached. If you think it is dying or smells rotten I would get him out before it affects the whole tank.

Of course it is hard to tell from one picture, and with the state that it is in, but I would say that you have an H. crispa -- a bleached one at that.
For the future, avoid white (( bleached )) anemones.

If it was me, I would pull it -- and do it with a net, since I have a feeling that it will fall apart when pulled.

Hey, how did this end up going? It looked pretty bad in the picture...
In my opinion I wouldn't let it to that point it would have been out of my tank when it started shedding its tentacles
