is the 6000 stream going to be replaced?

my understanding is that this one pump will have the same flow as the 6000 at low and the 6100 at high! I really like the idea

yes, i've seen that too. and I also like the idea. I guess if you want to go the cheap way, you could always use the nano stream 6055's

Yes, the 6101 is both the 6100 and 6000 in one pump, the lower cost option is the 6055. So many customers end up upgrading the pumps later that it just made sense to put both together, it also should be a big step towards getting these things in stock and getting production ahead of demand.

I have two 6000s, will I be able to upgrade by just buying the 6101 transformers? I was going to upgrade to the 6100 and all I needed was new transformers then the release of 6101. Any infromation would be great! Also what are the exact ratings on the 6101 and are the controlled by the same controller as the 6000s were? If I can just change the transformers what kind of price would I be looking at for two 6101 transformers? Thanks

kwgozy,

The 6101 has different technology and the transformer is similar to those used with laptop computers. You will still be able to obtain 6100 and 6000 transformers for a long time. The 6101 does work on the existing controllers.
I have a list of models available now and those to come below.

Cheers
Graeme

So to upgrade to the 6101 I would have to buy all new stream pumps or can I upgrade the 6000, by buying a few additional parts? If so what parts?

Thanks for the input Aquadepot

To upgrade a 6000 to a 6100 you need only a 7410.602 transformer. To upgrade to a 6101 is not possible.

but as I understood you, the 6101 is EITHER a 6000 or a 6100. its not both at the same time.

so while I guess its easier to flip the switch on the 6101, having a 6000 with both transformers is pretty much just as good...
