Is there any interest in a snail order?

Is there any interest at this time in a snail (plus crabs/shrimp) order? I could use a few more but wanted to see if there was interest in a group order before I pay a premium locally for them. We may be able to time the arrival of the order to correspond with the next meeting.

Previous orders (with possible links to suppliers) are in these old threads:

if the vendor can separate out orders to their respective owners bag(s) and label them pre-shipment likewise i'd be interested in joining up on this order. LMK

If I recall, reeftopia did separate our orders. Plus there's free shipping for over $100. I dont see any problem meeting that with as many has expressed interest already. I might get a ric or two to.

Reeftopia has good prices, but I was thinking Keys Critters again if they can give us price breaks like they did before. They seperate out in orders of lots of 50. I have sent them an email to ask for their price breaks at 200 and 500 snails. You get the 500 lot order if we get 250 with the group order. Just don't order their tiny cerinths. :)

I'll be happy to coordinate if we are going with Keys Critters. And perhaps even Reeftopia so long as we keep it simple (snails, crabs, shrimps). I don't care to get in the middle of a fish or coral order.

I prefer Reeftopia, only because the past few orders I placed with them, 100% of them arrived alive and they are great to deal with on group orders... However LMK what the prices look like when you hear back from Keys Critters... I have no experience with them, and am not against giving them a go... Especially if you're doing it and not me!!! :D

Everything arrived alive from Keys Critters. The only problem with them is that they had a variety of cerinths that was very small. I haven't received the price breaks from them yet, but if we can't get a $500 order at those prices, it is a moot point, anyway.

$500 order??? Really??? That seems like a lot... I don't think any of the past Group Invert Orders I did through Reeftopia were over $500...

We did this order a couple of years ago and only had a $250 order. They must have changed things a little. They have gone up in price a little, too (about $0.04 a snail). The prices are:
500 astrea .34
1000 astrea .32

500 cerith/bleg .24
1000 cerith/blueleg.22

25 emerald 2.50

25 star/cuke 2.50
To get to the $500 level, we are looking at 0.32 an astrae. At Reeftopia, they are called "turbos" and are 0.48 each. But we have more variety there. There used to be a quantity price sheet at Reeftopia. Does anybody have the link? Randy, can you send me that order form?

I found it:
http://www.reeftopia.com/completecatalog-a.htm

Looks like we can get Astraes for $0.45 each for 300 and $0.42 each for 600. Ceriths (the big ones) are $0.60 each for 300. With free box and shipping, this is what we pay (which makes it not much more than Key's Critters, anyway -- plus we can buy good ceriths).

Let's go with Reeftopia on the items at this link and see what quantities we can get. Personally, I would like 50 ceriths and 25 astraes, but I can vary to meet a quantity break if need be. I might be interested in some peppermint shrimp, too.
