Is there any interest in a snail order?

If we get enough interest, I was thinking in two weeks. Delivery scheduled for Friday the 16th. Those who want could meet me at FedEx in the morning to divide things up or in the Cedar Bluff area in West Knox during the day. Others could meet me at the meeting on the 17th. I'll tally the order thus far tonight and post it with a link.

I think your math is a bit off there... Ceriths are $15 per dozen... Or $75 per 100... Unless you're seeing something I'm not??? I'd be willing to split 100 with you though...

Um, at this rate we will likely have the 300 cerith mark which are $0.60 each. It doesn't matter who gets what so long as the total order is 300 or more, correct?

Correct... You just place the order for the bulk 300 ceriths, and then in the notes write:

Cerith~ 30, 20, 25, 25, 100, 50,50 and they'll bag them up in those quantities...

We should also break $200 so we'll get the 10% off... I think they might give an additional percentage off on Reef Club orders, but I can't remember... How are you wanting to deal with payments??? Paypal or pick up???

Payment needs to preferably be by check mailed to me once I get a good idea of the costs (or cash at pickup). I can't do Paypal because I'll need to right a check to Mastercard once this is all said and done.

I am tallying the order now. I just got this info back from Reeftopia about group orders.

Group Ordering Information

We are happy to work with group orders. We offer 10% discounts on orders over $200.00 that are placed online.

We prefer online orders because of the accuracy of the order, credit card #, shipping, and billing information. We will need for one person to be responsible for ordering, payment and any credits if needed. We also don't encourage orders over $500.00 for the sake of the person distributing. It can get confusing and if the order becomes too large you will find that you have taken orders from people you do not know very well and things like collecting payment and waiting for people to pick up their critters can make things frustrating.



If you order is going over $300.00 we request that you have it to us at least the day before you would like for it to be shipped. If you would like a Wednesday arrival we would like to have the order by Monday before 6:00 PM EST. That allows us to do extra prep work so the packers do not take the burden of getting it right all by themselves.



This is what we can do to make for easy distribution. All items will pack in quantities according to each persons order with the amount written on each bag. We prefer to split into quantities ordered for the well being of the critters. The critters can wait for acclimation until early evening as long as they have been kept packed in a dark, cool temperature controlled area. Waiting until early evening is better than going though an additional acclimation.

For the Reeftopia guarantee to apply we need to know that the critters will stay packed in their individual plastic bags, be picked up no later than early evening and only go through one acclimation.



When you order online there is a comment area at the very end of the check out process, there you can give us comments or additional information like the bag splits. An example of how to write bag splits so it is clear to us would be;

astrae snails....50-50-50-75-12-12-24-27 = 300

Serpent Stars….1-1-2-1-1= 6

Make sure the count matches the total ordered.

If you have it we use Excel for a daily spread sheet and would be more than happy to send you a copy of ours to fill in for the individual orders; we find this is the easiest way for everybody to catch any errors.
