Is there such a thing as too much current?

When the flow is causing the polyps on your corals to stay retracted from the flow hitting them, then that is to much flow.

Hey Chris, from actually being there. Watching the Dolphins Cheeleaders dance in South Beach on the beach isn't too bad a way to spend a Saturday afternoon!!!:D

id say that the current is too much when your fish swims in the line of current and he gets pinned up against the glass or gets blasted out of the water...

Different corals and fishes require different amounts of current. So everything depends on the exact animals in question.
