Is this a bad idea?

I've have had a pair of occ clowns for about six months. Yesterday a friend of mine gave me an anemone that was hosting a good sized tomato clown. He said im welcome to have the clown also. Is a 40 gal tank to small to house three clowns?

Yes, it is too small. Tomato clowns can be pretty mean and you are asking for trouble once the tomato settles in and starts to defend his anemone.

If you like your Occ clowns you will not put the tomato in there. She will destroy them...

Yup, a disaster waiting to happen--esp. that tomato clown...I'll never put more than a pair of clowns in one tank again...
