Is this a Bristle Worm or something else?

I saw this in my tank for the first time. I was very surprised to see it and it scared me at first since I was not expecting it. The pictures are not great as I just had my phone close by and the lights had not been on long so still very blue.

Is this a bristle worm or something else? It was very pink looking about the color of a pencil eraser. It looks to be about 12" long. It seems to be hanging out in the same rock/tunnels as my watchman goby/pistol shrimp. Any issues with leaving it or should it be removed?

Thanks for the help.

Looks typical bristleworm to me. If the head has obvious longish tentacles it's not, but this looks to be just a regular useful worm.

i agree looks like a bristleworm to me too.

im sure you know not to touch them?

they are generally ok in tanks as long as they are not to big. 12" seems like a big one to me. i would probably remove him.

12" no problem. That size rarely leaves its rock...but he may be really hungry. They have no mouth parts or jaws, only a soda-straw of a mouth that sucks up slime and detritus. THink of him as a rock-installed vacuum cleaner.
