for $1200 plus shipping I can find a lot of other things to do with that kinda money. But if your talking corals, for $1200 I can complete a polyp collection that would easily net you a PH in a trade after you grow out those polyps that you get with that cash.

That it a ridiculous deal, even if its worth somewhere around there, you can find a lot of varieties that look almost identical to the average persons eye and won't cost you anywhere near that range.

I guess they are somewhat smart though and know that some business man will come along with nothing but money and want to buy only top dollar pieces. It only takes 1 person...maybe i'll put some stuff on ebay lol.

It's risky. Often times $50+ pieces sell for $5. I've won quite a few pieces, that "retail" 10x as much as I paid.

But if you have something real unique, you can actually make money.

I don't see a lot of corals sell for the price these ended at.

sounds like they are only out for as much profit as they can get. I would guess that a 6-7 polyp frag would be better priced in the $500 range AT THE MAX. Kinda went nuts there a while back when that one sold for $300. JMO

im willing to bet BH are a lot more common than ppl realize, but it doesnt add to the ticket to say "same as your neighbor has" blue hornet polyps- only 1200 bucks.

doesn't sound too much like a good deal to me. I have seen colonies of these for next to nothing, jsut pple having trouble keeping them alive for more than a few months. Some of the other prices on there don't look too great either IMO. Come on now, 3 polyps of magicians for $160? 4 polys of NG for $70? 3 polyps of Galaxy Explosions for $80? I bought 10 polyps for $30 not more than 2 months ago. I don't see much in the way of deals on that site either.
