Is this a good enough Qt procedure

For corals I will first do a Bayern dip then a coral Rx dip followed by a iodine dip then a fw dip then they will be placed in qt tank for 2 months for observation and if anything should appear I will do more dips

My question is are there any dips that will kill bacteria on the coral?

For fish I will dose the tank with prazi pro then do a water change and dose cupermine followed by another dose of prAzi and a dose of Maracyn 2, the entire time I will be giving them formalin baths every other day when the treatment is done I will leave them in qt for another month and observe.

My question is will this take care of most issues I could run into and can I Qt a snowflake eel this way?

Thanks for the time reefers I'm trying to do this right so as to save myself many headaches! And some fishes/corals

I Dip corals depending on the coral and usually put them right into my coral tank.Once they are coming out nicely i will move them to the Reef tank later.

Fish..I qt them and watch them carefully. Make sure they are eating , no spots sore breathing hard and so on. Once they have been eating for 24 hours i will Slowly raise the temp to about 82 deg, Once it reaches that temp i will Dose with API General cure.. after 48 hours if the fish are still fine i will slowly drop the temp and do a few water changes with TANK Water from my Reef tank.. If the fish are still fine They move along to the Reef tank.... Some fish i will treat a bit differently then others Depending on the fish..
So read about the exact fish you are qt and how it reacts to the treatment...

There is no real reason to assume your fish is broken out with everything and end up killing by over medicating.... Observe and then make a Educated thoughtful approach , Not having a SET CHECK list to follow....

Good Luck....

Putting your corals in 2 months observation wont help for ich. People have reported getting ich by purchasing corals that had cysts/tomites laying on the piece. Underside frag or rock

I know i ran into that problem. Stopped adding fish years ago and one day after coral purchase , next morning all fish were plastered with ich spots.
