Is this a photosynthetic gorgonian

I picked up this Gorgonian last week. Seller said he thinks it is photosynthetic. I sure hope so because it is very nice color and I would hate to loose it. Here are some pictures. If anyone has seen one like this before and has any information on it please let me know.

Could be Menella, non-photosynthetic gorgonian, one of the best - if not the best :)
Usually it has yellow polyps, sometimes - purple, but I was told that it could be blue too.
This one is similar, but lighter colored branches.

This is not a purple frilly gorgonian, Pseudopterogorgia - different shape and color.

Search by name will show how others keep it. Almost every NPS corals keeper has it.

I have (what I believe is) a purple menella, but could be Paramuricea clavata. Diodogorgia, swiftia and muricella were easier, but menella is alive and as long as it is fed - it is open. Prolonged feeding is preferable.

Maybe Fauna Marin foods or RotiFeast and PhytoFeast are what it prefers.
