srry are those munched on polyps - rather, corallites?

Not sure if I understand the question. I've been dealing with an RTN issue, and this coral was dying so I took it out to try and examine it and notice these spots.

If a worm caused it the marks wouldn't be in a row. They would be in a random pattern.

So maybe not worms, but something eating the polyps?
