Is this algae or bacteria? The random brown spots just appeared overnight. My tank is fully cycled, but I did do a big water change a few days ago.

I have done it myself so, I'm guilty too, when a diagnosis or description is needed it should be under white lighting so we can actually see the colorings of whatever. Cell phones especially are notorious since everyone uses them.

Those are small and seem easy enough to scrape and syphon out at the same time. Do this weekly with each water change.
