Is this anything to worry about? (+pics)

So I looked today and my female GBM has developed two small white spots. One on the corner of her mouth and one near the gill. Is this the beginning of Brooklynella? My LFS informed me of a common clownfish disease and me being the unprepared person I am, did not write down the name. They told me that a Formalin dip gets rid of it almost every time. Problem is, Formalin is now banned in California and I am unable to get any from any site I have visited. Is there an alternative to Formalin or am I S.O.L. and have to drive to Nevada?:hmm5:

Here is a pic. You can see the one near her mouth most prominently in this:

Any info is appreciated, thank you.

Thank you. I asked the most knowledgeable person at my LFS when I went today and he said its not Brooklynella. If it was, it would be a velvety patch, not a bump. He said it might be some sort of parasite so watch it closely for a few days.

Nice looking clown. Could be ich see if it gets any worse. It will look like tiny grains of sand.

Thank you : )

Yeah, I first looked up Marine Ich. I've been keeping FW tanks for 10 years but never ran into anything like this. The ich always showed up in patches of many dots.

If you are talking about that black mark near the mouth on the stripe, that is not ich. Nor is it brooklynella (clownfish disease). It could be a coral sting or maybe it bumped into a rock when it got frightened. Just like a little kid, my fish wind up with benign little bumps and bruises almost every day. Keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse before you do anything drastic.

Nah the black is just in the coloration. Its a small white spot, but it seems to be getting better now, I just freaked out that my baby might have been hurt
