OK folks I need some insight. This clam has been in my 90 gal. now for 2 1/2 weeks. I placed him on the bottom when I brought him home on top of a small piece of rock. In a week he had attached. Now he was alive but he would never open more than a 1/4 ". On advice of a friend (there are three reefers on my cul-de-sac) I moved him up in the tank. Now he is 17" from my 250 MH. I took these pics about 20 mins ago and as you can see he is open a little more but not much at all really. He has been at this new location for about 4 1/2 hours now. Is it to soon to see any major improvement ? My water readings are as folows............... temp 79.9

I alternate feeding DT and Kent Physo Plex. I feed one or the other every other day. Oh...I also placed a smaller powerhead in the tank thinking there might be to much flow for him.
OK....shoot away...Thanks in Advance
Sorry no pics couldn't get them to load
