Is this Fin rot?

I have had this flame angel for about 2 months He has been eating like a hog everything seemed normal until a few days ago I noticed his rear fins looked a little ragged. It hasn't gotten any worse over that time one symptom I have noticed is heavy respiration.

SG 1.025
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5ppm

I feed a combination of Mysis, Cyclopeeze, new life spectrum and selcon all mixed together fed in several small feedings throughout the day. He eats all of it and doesn't stop till every last bit is gone.

If it is fin rot can he recover on his own with proper nutrition?

Doesn't really look like fin rot, typically fin rot sets in fast, and is more severe. The heavy respiration is a concern,. Was this fish and all others quarantined?

No they weren't I know better too. There was just no money left in my budget and he was the first fish added and the only one showing any problems.

I need to get a quarantine probably just set one up in a large Rubbermaid tub or something.

I will watch him closely if it progresses I will update.

Added a dose of prazi pro overnight. Today the heavy respiration has stopped everything looks good except his rear fins are still a little ragged. Will keep this updated.
