Is this ich... in hypo and cupramine.. no way ?

My yellow tang is breaking out in white spots... but i csnt tell if this is ich or something else.

Is this ich... i did have a kole tang who was riddled with it 8 days ago.. it fell off him throughout the 8 days but it was in hypo 1.09 and .3 to .4 cupramine with the yellow tang. This yellow tang has had these dots for like 5 or 6 days.. it looked liked they fell off leaving red marks but now they are back.

What is this ? How can ich survive in 1.09 hypo and cupramine.. In fact my cuoramine is at .5 right now or pretty damn close. Something i didnt want to do was going this high in hypo salinity but it doesnt seem to be bothering the fish..

These spots did also start around the time i started using cupramine but that was around when i got the kole tang.. So im not sure if uts a parasite or a reaction to cupramine. None of my other tangs or fish have this fyi

Could be Lymphocystis. It's a quite common side effect of copper treatment.

Because every day im seeing it on the yellow tang now. And it falls off leaving huge red marks on the fish.

I dont see how this is ich.....the spots get huge too.. bigger then what ive seen from ich.. another thing i noticed is it keep comming back in the same spots too its weird.. to the point hus skin has hole in it

Well ? What do you think ? Its showing ich behavior.. falls off during the day.. but damn it leaves huge red marks pencil tip sized.. like mini holes in his skin.. well large holes tbh. And they keep coming back... but i still see none on my other fish... I raised salinity to 1.015. And did at 30% water change. As well as curpizorb and carbon . Copper is still at .2 to .25 takes forever to go away..

I mainky did this because my blue tang is bloating like other before him he cant handle hypo... ive lost more fish in hypo from bloating then i have from ich almost.. almost lol.. I dont think hypo is as safe as people think it is.

Im hoping this will save ny blue tang.... But with levels gokng uo and dkwn for salt and copper... i still see no signs of ich on my other fish or tangs... just on the yellow tang.

I think its probly super ich tbh.. but i dunno.. if i introduced a fish 11 days ago with ich and he cleared up.. why hasnt he got it back ? But the yellow tang has got it lol. And how is ich able to handle 1.009 hypo and .4 to .45 copper.. thats why im still not sure if this is ich or not..

I trust the hypo and copper we’re not done together.
That would be a problem. The low salt content changed the strength of the copper

I assume I am just reading this wrong.

Certainly looks/acts like a parasite to me, likely not velvet or the fish would be dead, so suspect ich. Sometimes it’s impossible to diagnose accurately.

I use hypo on all tangs, but that’s just my way.

I have yet to experience ick which can withstand hypo as it screws with the parasites ability to regulate is water intake, it can take in water, but cannot is expel, so the parasite literally explodes

I guess you were right im noticing this lympocytis showing up on other fish.. like green chromis... they never ever get ich ever.. lol and im seeing white sores on them. The white spots on my yellow tang when they fell off or burst which i guess lymphocytis does ? Left huge craters in my yellow tang skin.. which also gave him a secondary infection.

He got red blotchs all his where the sores were and spread to his tail.. im using furan 2 and im 24 hrs he looks 50% better. So thats good.. but now i gatta deal with lymphocytis.. since its w virus i assume there is no cure.
