From the colors yours could be a Red Sea one - though it's hard to be sure with the pictures taken under actinic lights.
While the Red Sea ones have slightly more vibrant colors, the Maldives ones are much hardier and easier to keep alive.
Red Sea Pygoplites are actually known for being very difficult to keep alive, even after being acclimated. A store in Bremen, Germany had a very nice female for several years in a top notch display tank with corals. But despite that it was just dead one morning.
The slight difference in color is not enough for me to take the greater risk and paying more for it on top of that. Plus since the Maldives ones are easier to get it is also easier to put a pair together.
It is my favorite fish, right after percula clowns. As soon as I have a suitable tank I plan to get a pair again.
