Found the little guy stuck between two rocks this morning. Got him out, he's pretty active but has some white spots. They don't seem raised and one if not a perfect circle. Is this ich or damage from getting stuck?

Pictures are not definitive. Removing a tang from its night time resting place is not a good idea.

Doesn't look like ich. Are the bumps raised up at all? Removing a fish from it's sleeping area is the worst thing you can do by the way, like Steve mentions....

Thanks for the info guys. I couldn't tell, but they didn't look raised to me. I will check again tonight. Hard to get good pictures as he's fast. It was pretty bright already, and he was trying to move inside there, so I figured he's not resting, but won't touch him again if it repeats. I saw white spots, so tried to get him out of there to see what's going on and buy meds on the way home if needed.

He was pretty active, and ate food when fed.

Ich would look like a sprinkling of salt grains. Behavior would be flashing.

Will keep a close eye on it tonight. They do look bigger then tiny small salt grains if we are talking about regular table salt. Is there anything else this could be and anything I should look out for?

Lymphocystis would look a bit like cauliflower. Lumpy.
