Is this light too much for my SPS only tank...

55 Gallon, I want to make sure I buy the right light once and thats it. Would this work for what im using it for? SPS only guys

Isn't that fixture too wide for a 55 ? It says 19 inches . A 55 is like 48lx13wx19H or so . U plan on upgrading the tank anytime soon ?
I guess you could remove bulbs and not use all of them . .

yeah, that is my mistake. So I could probably only go with the 4 bulb fixture? I dont plan on upgrading past the 55 because that is actually an upgrade for me haha, setting it up over the next month or two

ATI 4 bulb fixture would be about the same cost as that tek and would fit your tank very nicely.

and produce higher PAR for your corals.

The tek would work though, don't use the splash shield and use some fans to help cool fixture, this will increase output significantly.
