Is this Media Ok for a Schuran reactor?

Is this Media Ok for a Schuran reactor?
Is this OK to use in a schuran reactor? The reactor is on it's way, and I don't have any money, or any local stores that carry the schuran, or GenX reactor media. I will have to order some and right now I can't. Any input would be great. Thanks

What type of media is that? crushed coral?

Yah, crushed coral

It will most likely work. Might take a higher or lower pH to disolve it than normal media.
