i actually don't have a very sufficient light, it is only an 18 watt regular flourecnt that came with a tank combo from petsmart, i am in the process of cycling my new biocube hqi im hopeing that the hqi light will help this anemone, do they get bleached from lack of light or to much light?

Who on earth told you that it was ok to put an anemone in your tank with this lighting? If you really want advice....Take the anemone back to where you bought it from, wait at least six months before attempting one again and make sure your lighting and other parameters are stable and up to par. Do a LOT more research on anemones and don't buy anything without doing the appropriate research first.
Thank you for the advice yea i actually got the lta at petco the guy told me he would do fine and also sold me a bottle of advanced phytoplankton for like 15 dollars and told me to put a little of that in everyday to feed the anemone, does anyone even use that stuff??

Phytoplankton does nothing for an anemone; they are photosynthetic and carnivorous, and phytoplankton are tiny plants. Chalk this experience up to bad advice from someone who knows very little about the animals he's selling. Unfortunately, this is very common. However, you'll find a lot of helpful advice here on RC so you can make more informed purchases as you go.Thank you for the advice yea i actually got the lta at petco the guy told me he would do fine and also sold me a bottle of advanced phytoplankton for like 15 dollars and told me to put a little of that in everyday to feed the anemone, does anyone even use that stuff??
