Is this normal growth?

I'm pretty new to sps corals, but from seeing pictures for branching acros I don't see them with thin tips like mine. Parameters are 450 cal. 8 Alk 1350 mag at 1.025 with 7ppm nitrates and 0.16 phosphates(I know a little high, but all sps corals still see growth wjth good color)

Nobody thinks this type of growth is weird? When I first got it, the new growth were just little nubs like one would typically see, but in the 2-3 months it's grown to what's pictured with the only other growth being the encrusting base.

I've looked at 100s of pictures of branching acros and haven't seen anything similar.

I think I have the same maricultured coral, it is not a super winner but ok. Mine grows just like yours.

Yes, that's normal. Your nups are turning into large branches with axial coralites. They will eventually thicken up.
