Is this normal?!?!

I have 3 rose bubble tips, one is about 4 inches and the other 2 are about 1 inch. I feed them mysis, but everytime I feed the big one it eats it and deflates for the rest of the day, while the smaller ones eat it and open right back up beautifully. Also the mouth of the biggest rbta is not closed tightly, it is open just a little but not closed. Overall the anemone looks great when it's open so I don't think its sick or anything. Anyone know what is happening?

No that doesn't sound normal to me. But if it's happy most of the time... Try feeding it something else, like a piece of shrimp or scallop. See if maybe it's just a picky eater?

Also, how long has it been doing this? And where is it in the tank, relative to the other 2?

Make sure no One is trying to take the food from him either or has anyone tried in the past? Being the biggest its probably the clowns favorite and They can get greedy and try to steal the btas food, if its in its mouth when they do it can damage the bta

Forgot to mention the point being that the mouth could have been damaged, take some time off feeding it as long as Its happy and make sure it isn't being harrassed

I think it likes the mysis because it grew 3 times the size only on mysis. And it docent like shrimp, it will eat it and the next day spit it out.. All of the rbta's are in the same spot.

I've seen the clowns try to take food out of it's mouth, but most of the time. The clowns will give up food for the anemone. Im gonna start feed ing the fish first then feeding the bta

Like I said I'm Not sure if that's the reason but I have 13 btas and feeding them while watching the clowns is a hastle lol. I always catch them pulling at the food like a dog hah
