is this overkill?

stopped at the local pet store where they are having a going out of business sale. far be it from me to pass up a bargain so i picked up an aqueon circulation pump 700. it's rated for 30-55g but marked down from $80 to $20, i couldn't leave it there to languish on a shelf.

is this overkill in a 14g biocube? if not, where would be the best location in the tank to place it? if so, guess i'll save it for when i **gasp** upgrade.

tank is brand new, cycling with lr and ls.

It's probably a little overkill... right now that'd be 50x turnover... maybe if you don't directly point it at anything, like point it at the front glass...

I think that would be a little overkill. Id look for something a little smaller and save that pump.

may be a bit overkill but may make a nice mixing pump for your fresh saltwater. until the *gasp* upgrade.
