ok i have added 3 new clams and my oldest of 2 years now has a curled mantle. he also has a pink growth that i thought was a sponge but it doesn't peel off, i don't want to scrape it until i know its not part of the clam some how, i don't think its related to the curled mantle since the pink growth has been there for 6 months. it started when he had a bubble algae growing on his shell and it covered the bubble so i thiough it might be some type of defense for the clam. also one of the new clams has a small curl and the end of his shell. i know in the pic there is a black snail on him. the clams are now hypre sensitive to light changes and there mantles have been like this for 3 days
