I have about a 5 inch chrysaurs angelfish and need to know if he will eat soft corals.
Is this reef safe?

That fish will nip at anything, corals, inverts.....they also get HUGE!

@11 years old I doubt there are things you are doing for any significant amount of money that are "fair and square". Regardless, i doubt that was the point he was trying to make with his post....

I can't believe all you guys or girls, as old as you are keep picking on this 12 yr old kid. I think all of us here were 12 at one point in are lives or have kids that are his age. Give the kid a break! It's quite sad what I'm seeing here.

I had freshwater fish when I was 12. My moms friend gave us a turtle for my tank. We didn't have forums back then and I couldn't ask questions so I added the turtle to my tank. He quickly bit a big gourami I had for years and his guts came spilling out. My bro and I were traumatized. :worried:

I've had a saltwater tank (20gallon) since I was 10. Forums have definitely made things a lot easier to find out info, but finding accurate information and actually listening to it is the most important part. Luckily, the LFS I used to go to (it's no longer around) was very conscientious and gave me good info and recommendations, so I was lucky enough to have a pretty successful little tank. I definitely made some mistakes and learned from them. I put a tiny yellow tang into my 20g going against the recommendations I was given. After having it for a couple months, it was growing so fast that I finally realized that my stubbornness put that fish into a very bad situation. So, I brought him back to the fish store and haven't bought a tang ever since. That should change pretty soon though, because I'm moving and setting up a 180g and finally feel that I can successfully have a couple smaller tangs. Successfully = long term = more than a few years

You guys are wasting your time with this one.....and once again from a bunch of people that dont actually know all the information and dont stop to realize that a 12yr old is not able to discriminate between what another thinks is funny and a message that speaks of his true manner and paints a clear picture that shows you he is let do whatever he wants for his own self absorbing and no adults in his life are even coming close to whats considered responsible parenting or maybe just dont know better.....
your fueling of a child that has no regard for marine life or information given from knowledgeable adults like Bill and others is actually irresponsible......ask him about his bragging about what he has caught and sold to the lfs..... maybe that would give him credit in ninos eyes also .....and salty ask him for a hell of a response when he tells you where he got the emperor that is in his DT.......I wonder what comebacks will come from him when his self incriminating text about himself and parents collecting illegal Atlantic reef items and selling them to an LFS without proper licenses or permits gets forwarded to FWC ....wonder what comebacks will be like when the boat that was used is confiscated and the LFS is fined ......hope he sells enough shoes or has some good comebacks for that ....
