Is this right?

I'm still having issues with my skimmer. Just running too wet for my liking but the gate valve is open all the way. The bubbles are almost at the top of the collection cup and I can't turn it down anymore.
However, is there supposed to be bubbles at the bottom of the skimmer?

I've checked the pump and everything I can imagine. Water is at the recommended levels. The pump is brand new.

Bubbles are what it's all about. The more and smaller the bubbles the better.

Is it a recrk skimmer if it is slow down the feed alittle.

It is not a recirc. but from what everyone has told me, the meshmod won't add anything to this pump. (GenX 4100) This is just driving me insane. Any suggestions?
