Is this SPS bleached?

This is my first SPS, came to my house about a week ago. This is pretty much the condition it came in. Is it not getting enough light? My LPS is doing really well around the middle of the tank. I also have a monti cap in the middle of the tank that's doing fine.

Parameters:
SG 1.025
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate >5

Edit: Sorry for the sideways picture, it showed up correct on my phone.

Sorry about that, thanks for the format.

-Calcium: 460
dKh: 9
Phosphate: 0.1-0.15
Don't have a Mag test as of now.

-My tank is around 80 degrees.

-Lights are Ecoxotic Panoramas. I have two. White with Actinic Blue. They do not have an outstanding PAR rating, but the Monti's are growing very well at medium level. Also, my LPS are doing well on the bottom and middle of my tank, and so are the softies. They are on for 12 hours a day. They are mounted to my canopy so probably about a foot away from the surface.

-I use premixed saltwater. I test it everytime before adding it.

-I change 20% (15 gallons) every other week.

-I do not dose currently. I dosed trace elements awhile back, but I figured, if everything is doing well why change anything?

-I use two Bak-Pak 2's for skimming. They are rated for 60 gallons of skimming, so two of them equals 120 gallons total. I have 2 hydor 1150's for circulation. Plus the minor current my Bak-Pak's create.

It's a poor picture. It's either already dead and starting to algea up. Or it's still alive, just gets too much light, feed it or place it slightly lower and it will recover.

looks like it has color. do you have some more pics?

so its a foot below the water line and where are your lights to that?

monti's grow with the room light being on so its hard to judge effectiveness of your lights with monti's or sps.

post a tank shot.

Here's a couple of pictures. The coral is on the top left rock, where the flame hawkfish is. The lights are mounted on the top of the canopy. I'm just confused on where I should place it.

still hard to see, but it seems to be light brownish.

Is it bleached, not yet.

However, i would place it lower in the tank if the frag is new. If the tank has enough nutrients it will brown up. This is NOT a bad sign for the first frag. Then move it higher so it can colour up.

If it came from a tank with similair lighting and similair placement you can leave it there.

cant see any polyps extention on it. id say too much nutrient on the water. do check on po4 and no3 again. over nutrient might be the problem

What would be considered "over nutrients" for you guys? Sorry I know that's a newbie question I'm just not too sure on SPS since I'm new to it.

I moved the coral to the bottom about a week ago. I was actually going to throw it out today, but I noticed that it turned green! :) It is a Royal Blue Acropora, so green means it is getting there! I moved it up some so hopefully I'll see some more results here soon!

Never throw any frag out until it's just a skeleton!
