is this too expensive for a fish????

haha im just joking man... i just thought thats insane. at that price id fly to wherever they find this guy scubba dive. catch like 5 of them, and fly back eating filet mignon while shopping online for louis vouitton bags....

I saw a bunch of those at the wholesalers probably 200 of them, guy's fly over from Japan and buy them by the dozen for $1500 each supposedly they get $5000 each back in Japan I really don't think they are all that nice ,I wouldn't pay $100 for one.

So I see "Occupation: delivery dude" for the OP... I wonder what he delivers to be able to afford that fish....j/k

It is a nice looking fish but the price is a bit steep.

Maybe I'm just steep. >.>

I'm with you. Most I've payed for a fish is 18 dollars.

That's because you are just starting. It will come. I never thought I would either, and that is a pretty good deal on a clarion. $500 off. :)

I never thought I would either. Then never that much for a coral, then never that much for a frag. I have no self control.

I've paid $120 for a 1/2" frag and bragged about the deal.

I would never pay over $100 for a fish....... famous last words... come back in a couple years and tell us that one again if you truely can...i said that too and curently most fish i want are 200 to 500 buck range.. i spent 244 bucks yesterday on 2 fish..

My LFS had 3 of them. I think they are so expensive because they are regulated. Only a certain amount can be imported a year.

I personally can think of a whole lot of other things to spend $3k on though.
