is this too much...bio load wise

I have a 90gal mix with 30gal sump/fuge and a skimmer rated for 160gal. currently I have whitefaced surgeonfish (a.k.a. powder brown tang), pair of BW clown, six line wrasse, yellow coris wrasse, fire fish and diamond gobby. My question is, is it too much if I add three (3) anthias?

TIA.

I agree. Also you need to consider swimming room, hiding spots etc of your fish/livestock. bio-load should not be your only consideration.

Do you have a yellow coris wrasse , typically not reef safe, or is this a canary wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus); would make a big difference here? I would say it also depends on how you care for your tank and probably which anthias you plan to add.

I agree with fancyfish...it is probably more an issue of swimming room/hiding spots, so you have to have a good balance and aquascaping of live rock. Otherwise I think your bioload would be ok if you have a good quality skimmer, and did regular weekly/biweekly water changes.

fittiger: canary wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus).

Thank you guys, at least now I know. Anthias is out of the picture, I've never thought of the swimming space problem. Will stick with what I have right now.
