Is this what I think it is?

I was messing with the aquarium tonight and decided to blow a powerhead behind my rock work. wanted to suspend some crap for my skimmer when what to my weary eyes should appear but this guy floating in the water column. I snatched it up to inspect it and I'm pretty sure it's a zoa spider?? If so, does anyone know a sure fire method to get rid of them? I have it in a specimen container and can freely experiment with it. If it is not a spider, then does anyone know what it could be? Thanks in advance!

I was doing a lot of searching and such lastnight inline to find pics of these things. The one I have doesn't look as...mean...ugly.. as the ones I see online. I searched and didn't see any on the few zoas I do have in the tank lastnight. So I am assuming this is a harmless sea spider that I just happened to find. I will keep an eye out on how everything does and go from there.

Dude, bad news. That is def a zoo spider and looks like the ones I had a few months back that wiped out a couple of my favorite zoo colonies. Those little suckers are hard to get rid of. I finally got rid of them by taking all the zoos out of my DT and dipping them on a WEEKLY basis for two months.

I would take my zoos out and give them a RODI dip asap and see if anymore are found.
Good luck. LMK if you find more and I can give more details about what I did. There are a couple of threads on RC that have alot of info on these bad boys. Also, check out wetwebmedia.com--Bob Fenner replied to a post I placed about these.
