Sorry guys, poop isn't something many want to see, but im curious if this is "stringy white poop?

In this tub are 4 female lyre tail anthias, and two occ clowns. They all eat mysis and omega one flakes. Some poop is white, most is colored brown and some is a mix. What does that indicate?

You can see a good mix of it here. Second tub was dosed with PP and tomorrow's tub will be too.

fwiw, i am QT'ing lyretails right now also and they had that same (albeit mine were often longer poop strings) white poop. once i started dosing PraziPro they stopped having that... so my guess was that it was internal parasites.

nonetheless, i am tagging along for education purposes to see other responses.

Thanks spar.

The poop from mine, as you can see, are short, but definitely white. Today is their last ttm before going into a QT, and they got a second round of prazipro today.

Are yours doing ok in QT?

females are OK, eating well -- they 'wrestle' a lot... no damage at least

the male won't eat in front of me very often, but seems to be holding his weight OK, and is personable enough to come up to me when I am in the the room. but he gets shy with any sudden movements and hides.

i move them over to my DT tonight, hopefully not premature given the male's timidness.
