Hi,
Will my fish get sick or die because of too long of a photoperiod?
I return home everyday around 6:00pm, so the tank light schedule is as follow:
5:30pm to 4:30am Blue actinic
6:00pm to 4:00am 14K
The main reason for this schedule is to maximum the lights on time when I am around the tank.
The tank does not get direct sun light but it is still bright enough (window blinds already in use) to wake up all the fish around 7:00am everyday.
I can see them actively swimming around.
so I do the math and the fish is awake for almost 20 hours per day.
I don't have any issue yet but will it become a concern long term?
fish list so far
clown tang
yellow tang
tomato clown
niger trigger
