The key isn't "no fish"; its keeping ich out in the first place. Not difficult with a good QT routine.

+1 and anything else that is wet ( inverts,corals,rocks).

Was having major issue with cloudy water in 29g cube with minimal bioload... UV cleared it up significantly in just a couple days... believe it was algae spores

That was a bio bloom.
