Okay, here's the deal.
My 120 has been up for a month. 1 green reef chromis, 1 tomato clown. LR, LS, skimmer, macro growing in sump, good flow, condy anemone, frogspawn.
I have been fighting with my tank to keep the temperature under 85F all summer, and yesterday I got a chiller.
For the past week and a half, my clown had small (unobservable from more than 3" away) white dots, I figured it was ich. I've been trying to capture him and the chromis, but I couldn't. So I let them ride it out. I feed only frozen mysis, no garlic.
I installed a chiller yesterday, and finally brought the temperature down to 77-79 over about 24 hours.
I looked this afternoon, and the ich spots are all gone. I understand that the organisms are still in the water, however is there no immediate threat anymore? Can I add a few more fish without worrying about a tankwide ich crash?
