Can you post more pics?

Can you post more pics?

Can you post more pics of your tank, and maybe a movie???

Your eye for design is amazing!

I must have jinxed myself since one of my Vortechs detached for the first time last night and I do have the power cord supported. I guess one of my fish must have bumped it of in the middle of the night.

Gorgeous tank. The last pics really show how awesome that controller works with the dawn to dusk effect of the MH. Great job.

Wow invincible569! I finally finished your build thread, great setup. PM on some questions on your setup.

i thiink you should provide one new picture per page - how about one with the lights at full bore today - thanks wonderful reef

Edward,

Do you have any issues with your tank being up against the wall? Any salt sray or creep issues? A 30" tank, four to six inches from my wall, cramps the living room a little bit. So I'm debating whether or not to put the tank flush against the wall.

Thanks,
Paul

216, I will see if I can take more pics. Im running out of ideas on what angles to take ;) I need a photographer :) A movie is a another good idea. I will see what I can do this weekend. I am in San Antonio now and will return by Friday.

mcrist. sorry to hear that!

jflip, thank you. I really love when one light comes on and then the others. I like this also at night when they are shutting off.

Nuzze, I will check your PM.

jnb, I will take some pics this weekend. Lets see how they turn out. I need a supermodel next to it! HMM.

Paul, I have NO issues with the tank being up against the wall. No regrets either. My tank is 1" from the wall. No salt issues either. Put it against the wall.

Edward's new pics will be posted next week on the newly created "A.G.E Tank owner's club" thread over on the Reef Discussion forum. lol :D

You promised me, Edward! :)

Edward,

Do you have any issues with your tank being up against the wall?

I put my tank less then a 1/2" off the back wall. I left just enough room for powercords.

The only "problem" I have with it, I wish I would have left enough room for Tunze magnets... So I just wanted to say, keep it in mind if there is any possibility that you may want to add more flow later. ;)

For me? By far not enough room on the back.

I could one on one side, the other side I have 2" from the wall.
But I could punch a hole in that wall. :)

I have been considering getting the Vortechs to replace my 6100's and wavebox but I dont like all the bad things I've been reading! I know how Tunze support is first hand... Doesnt get much better then Roger.

I thought about a couple of 6055's across the back but they wont fit unless I mount them in the overflow box.
Which might work well actually.

If you are bothered by noise avoid the vortech, also mounting the the tunze nano magnets in the overflow is not a bad idea at all.

I've got a pair of Vortech MD40Ws that I plan on mounting on the ends of the tank. I hope I won't need anything more. If I do, I might go with a Tunze in the back corner(s). So maybe I'll leave two inches for power cords and magnets. Thanks guys.

Paul

Oooh dangerously close to another split.
Who takes care of the tank while you're away?
I think I remember you have a daughter that helps out.

so I got my aquatronica web interface working today and what a piece of crap compared to what your controller's interface looks like. I wasn't expecting much but was still unimpressed. Looking great BTW

Ed bro your to much your tank is amazing and you are worried about taking pics on diffrent angles lol. I cant get pics straight on. Hey I don knowif you remember me but im from back in the day ;)
