GSM, I agree :)

13, GOOD LUCK! I would ask Elos to send you a tank. It is your safest bet since you are in London.

TOOFLy, I will have to look at my diagrams at home. Will let you know a bit later.

Any word? Sorry to be a nudge. ;)

BTW, what are the damsels that you recently added?

Paul

Sorry guys.. I have been so busy lately and have only been able to scan through some posts quickly but not respond like I wanted.

drama, I see what yuo are saying about the shallowness. I would suggest using Google Sketchup and drawing it out to give you a better representation of what you will get. This is what i did with my tank before it was built.

triunfo, yes there was. I removed my entire closed loop power by a Dart. I only have my Chiller Closed loop which is a great plus. The Tunze's kick butt and doesnt compare to the flow it produces over a CL. The cost of running a CL is also greater than some Tunze.

jazzzero, thank you!

j-soler, I went with the Tunze 6201's and 1 6101. The 6201's are very nice and my entire tank circulates very well. All teh corals wave around which I love. I chose the Tunze's becuase of its greater power.

alicia, its definitely a possibility. They look great all together. I really love all of them in my tank. They are still doing good right now.

toofly, drama is correct on the dimensions. And thsoe are blue damsels.

nick, thank you!

slojmn thanks. Glad there is some real examples out there with my dimensions. I checked the tank out by clicking your red house and pretty convinced my dimensions will work great. I went with the 18" height. Still seems shallow with that height which I'm happy with.

Invince, I did use the google sketchup, but without a real life example which slojmn gave me I doubt it would have helped as much. Thanks anywayzz

Let me wipe this drool from my chin.

Thanks Ed.

Paul, yes. Edward has an amazing tank. He is one of my inspirations! You should be calling him sensei! I'm just a noob :D

Thanks Fellas!

I have the Acan bug! Thanks to Fliger's! :)

Oh lord...it was bad enough with the shots of your tank Edward, but now you've gone and brought the Aussie's into the discussion. It's almost too much.

I forgive you, as I KNOW you are still bitter that your Celtics (with big 3 of Garnett, Pierce, and Allen) lost to my Warriors (minus Stephen Jackson) :D

Edward, you might have answered this already but why Tunze's over Vortech's? My LFS got a few in recently and it was pretty impressive seeing them at work. There were two pumps on one end on pulse mode (master + slave in sync i think) and it was creating a good 2+ inch wave. The biggest plus is you hardly notice them. I immediately ordered one but after seeing that you went down Tunze road(like many others) i'm second guessing myself.

I love my sunrise effect using the Biomatix Controller. Im able to control each MH & T5. This morning, one MH turns on 30 mins prior to each one. And at night, it does this in reverse order. The main reason for this is to create less heat at a given time.

:rolleye1: Just wait till they're all healthy. :smokin:

13, The reason I chosed the Tunze 6201's was because of the strength it provides for my 40" wide tank. I also didnt like the fact that it would cause an eye sore in the middle of my side viewable windows. I love my 3 sided tank and that would just block out the view. The other issue was the problems it has been having with it falling down. They are very delicate and I have also seen them in action and also see them fall in front of my face. That would frustrate me if I had to keep positioning it properly. Some people on here say they have great success so dont give up hope yet.

mr294, thank you!! I am also pleased with how the controller came out flush with the stand.
