isopod? Good or bad?

Hi, while I was feeding my fish today I noticed a little white iso-pod like creature moving really fast around one of my rocks. I tried to take a few pics but it was impossible. Then I took a few videos and took a snapshot of the best frames.

The little thing found a piece of fish (from the fish food) on the rock and started eating it, so it is carnivore. Question is is it bad, or good, and of bad, how to get rid of it?

To me it looks like a transparent Sphaeromatidae, which is fine, but then the way it was eating that piece of meat ...

Well I just added my first fish in the tank, so unless it was drinking snail blood I'd say it is from its color (my white balance under blue/white LEDs). I threw it out though. I'm glad I was able to suck it up with the turkey baster :)

Oh yeah, that's a bad one. They aren't obligate parasites, but if they can sink those hooks of theirs into a live fish they will. Glad you got it easily. Be worth doing some baiting to be sure there isn't any others.
