Issue with probes out of water?

I finaly plumbed up my Profilux Probe Station last night but since it can't be put under pressure, I've plumbed it above the sump level. Because of that, if the pump feeding it is turned off, the station drains back out of the pump inlet leaving the probes exposed.

Any issue with that? I'm using 1/2" flex hose to and from the unit. I'm not sure I can buy an inline check valve for that size in potable material but will be looking around. Just wondering if I really need the check valve or is it a problem for the probes to come out of water when plugged in.

Thanks

providing the probes are not left without water for a time where they will start to dry out this is not a problem, ideally a check valve would be a good addition

Thanks again Mike. I think I've found a suitable 1/2" check valve so will be picking up this week.
