issues with green star polyps

I have them for over 2 months.. they seemed to be doing great... now the last few days they never come out .. any suggestions?

That's not unusual. If something tee's them off they close up for a few days. Not saying there isn't something else wrong, just that you should give them a couple of days and see what happens.

Mine have been closed for a month. I moved them to the sand bed yesterday hoping they like it there better.

did you change out GFO or carbon? Got any Cowries?

don't use carbon or GFO.. not sure what cowries are... they are coming out again as of last night?!

I bought a softball sized rock covered with GSP several months ago from which I made 2 additional frags. When I first brought it home it took a good 2 weeks before it decided it was safe to "come out and play." When I put everything from my 30 into my 55 2 months ago the only issue I had was the softball sized rock with GSP. They never came out. No issues with the smaller frags from it but after 7 weeks the largest chunk began to look pretty sad so I gave up on it and removed the entire rock. Indeed they are quite temperamental.
