Issues with sellers on Fragswapper..

Hey everyone -

I like to go to the swaps every year and there are a couple good ones coming up. I tend to use Fragswapper because it's convenient.

Now, I think it was last year I reserved some stuff through a guy that goes by the username "dogpound". Maybe others have had some success with this seller, but he lied about the type of a coral I reserved - telling me it was a rainbow acan lord and it was a brown favia.

My own stupidity of course for not checking it well after I got it, but this guy knew better and acts somewhat shady. I don't want anyone else to get ripped off, so if you do any dealings with him, please get a clear picture of what you're reserving (a lot of his pics are blurry - like my acan was) and get a good look at the coral before you buy it.

Wow, that's brutal. Did you contact him afterwards to see if maybe he gave you the wrong thing. There's such a HUGE difference between a Lord and a Favia that it almost doesn't seem possible that someone could make that big of a mistake honestly, but I guess anything is possible...like getting home and thinking "gee, I thought I sold this acan...hey where's my puke brown favia?" Anyway, sorry you had that experience, and I'll definitely keep an eye open for this if I ever make it to a frag swap. What are the ones coming up?

I didn't contact him again because I think he is from Ohio. I should've though I hope no one else has a bad experience with him.

There's one coming up on April 10th in North Olmstead, OH, then there's one on April 24th in Williamsport, PA.

I plan on going to both I think. We'll see.

Which is better, the Cleveland swap or the Columbus one, in everyone's opinion.

Both are fantastic. I've never been to one in PA so we'll see on that one...

My Boys and I are going to The one in North Olmstead on April 10th.
