So I go downstairs to get something out of my freezer and I can hear water drippiing... hmmmm.. The valve connecting my intake line to the RO/DI apparently won't shut off. I had to shut the entire house water off due to the way I had it installed. Grrr... Why don't these things happen on Monday morning? I have a fishing trip scheduled for tomorrow from 6-2 so I can't even mess with it until late tomorrow afternoon. *Sigh* I'm hoping a simple replacement valve will fix the problem.

$7 and a simple shut off valve. Easy. I don't know how others have their RO/DI set up but if you are using the same apparatus you used to tap the water line to turn on and off your water to the filter, do yourself a favor and go to Lowe's, get a simple valve, cut your input line in half and stick the ends into each end of the shut off. It may save you a headache and a mess. And a ****ed off wife. ;-)
