Oh shoot I was supposed to introduce myself. Ok, so I am Tom, retired, and I have an addiction.... crap lets start over. I have had an aquarium since second grade.... hmmm TMI. Ok, I started my first saltwater tank in 1977. I have been on and off my addiction ever since. Married 40 years with 3 now grown up kids having their own and our grandchildren. Our oldest child could spell Tang before he could spell his own name, I kinda regret that. But what the hey is there any better way to learn Biology? Ok I will get serious for a minute. Just getting back into the hobby yet again. I have the coolest Betta that I finger feed. Two 10g freshwater, yes I admit to it. One planted and the other bare bottom with a huge Pleco and a bunch of Marimo balls rolling all over the place, so I guess both are technically planted. I am in the process of curing about 100lbs of dry rock for my 75g. The 150 and 29 are currently and pathetically residing dry in my garage but they will be attended to soon so all is good don`t fret. The 75 I hope to eventually go reef with so that is why I decided to register here on RC. My thanks to whomever started RC it has been a wealth of information. If I were going to give any advice to folks new to the hobby it would be to be patient and do your research. Do not hesitate to ask questions that is how you learn things. Use your common sense and think before you act. And above all else make sure you take the time to actually enjoy this hobby because ultimately that is why your here on RC.
Best wishes, Tom the addict.
