It this coral dying

hello

When I first got it, it was bright green now it's well it's the color in the picture
I'm wondering if it's dying?


Tank info
40 breeder
20 sump
2 mp10's one on each side

alk 8.0-9.0 sometime it's lower in the 7 range
cal 400
running carbon in brs reactor

If it's not dead already, it's certainly dying. Alk swings tend to do that. You need very stable parameters for LPS and SPS corals.
 
yeah its long gone.... 7-9 alk swing is alot try to lessen that maybe an alk buffer? skeleton looks like a favia or chalice..
 
Thanks for the info. Very interesting it didn't look much different than when I got it, except that the centers were bright green.

Been trying to get my alk stable going to have setup my doser
