If it helps you with your decision making; it was only until I added the calcium reactor to my system when corals started growing with a vengeance!

It's a good deal on a complete package. What I really love about the Korallin that noone else's reactor is designed to do is that with a few parts that you can get, you can convert it into a denitrator if ever needed. The denitrator also supplements calcium too, so if you've only got a small calcium demand, you can turn it into a denitrator and use the denitrification as your primary cause and calcium secodary.

From MarineDepot: "Because this denitrator makes use of the design of Calcium Reactor C1502, once the nitrate problem has been solved, you can easily turn this denitrator into a Calcium Reactor with some additional parts (sold separately)."

So I'm pretty sure you could go backwards as well, with the right parts.
