OK, not sure if it is me or there is a problem with the equipment.
25 years ago when I hooked up my skimmer it was very easy with 1 small adjustment on the muffler. My son and I just hooked up a bubble magnus NAC7. Very good looking skimmer and the bubbles are very very extreme. My question is, is there anything I am overlooking because this thing is pushing air way way to much. I can not turn it down enough to keep the bowl from filling up with water. If I exhaust it to max it just fills my sump with air bubbles that leach over to the tank.
Is it do to the fact that it needs to cycle a few days? If it is then I will have to put it in a 5 gallon bucket. Is that normal now-a-days. if not then I think I will have to have several baffles in my sump to get rid of the air. I got THE LOOK from the wife when I mentioned a new sump..
