Matt....you don't to use condoms on your hands...they aren't meant as finger protectors when you are alone. I suggest getting a single condom, it should last until you are out of college.

I asked for and got a new big screen TV from the wife

now IM asking for appropriate components to go with it from my parents (subwoofer, upconverting dvd player (as if they'd spring for the blue ray), etc)

If you got an Xbox360 for $100 you can buy the external bluray drive for about $200.

yeah, the XBOX's drive is HD-DVD, different than Blu Ray DVD, but pretty much same quality

they don't have a bluray for 360, just hd-dvd. I don't know where you can get a $100 360 either.

So that's $200 for the drive and $250(ebay) for the 360. $450 total i guess, you'd probably want a remote to control it too. another $30 or so.
